Seeking experienced second shooters to work alongside Ginny Silver at various weddings.
Experience: Experienced second shooters only - photographers must be strong in their use of natural light, on-camera flash, posing abilities, and comfortable giving direction to large groups for staging larger group photos. Must be comfortable working on your own at a separate location during preparation time, cocktail hour, as needed. Experience with off-camera flash is preferred, but not required.
Equipment: Must provide own equipment. Canon equipment preferred, but not required. 2 full frame DSLR cameras required. Lenses with apertures at least 2.8 required. Must have set of lenses that cover focal lengths ranging between 35MM - 135MM.
Style: Photographic style must be similar to Retrospect Images, LLC (please view portfolio here)
Location: Most weddings take place across Northern California, but there is the potential for opportunities to travel for occasional destination weddings as they arise.
Image Use: Second shooters may use images they create in their gallery section of their website and on their blogs 12 weeks after the completion of the event and must state they were the second shooter for Retrospect Images wherever posted. Images may not be used as a primary image on your website, social media, or in any way imply that you were the primary photographer.
Hours: Second shooters are booked by the event and are required to sign a work for hire agreement for each event. Wedding days range from 2 hours - 14 hour days, with an average work day of 6-10 hours.
Pay: $55-70 per hour depending on experience
