Frozen Account Due to ID Verification

I am writing to you to kindly as for your assistance in resolving my issues with my EDD Unemployment claim. I greatly appreciate your attention given to this request in addition to any help you may be able to provide and want to thank you for your time.

On (INSERT DATE) I was approved for (UNEMPLOYMENT or PANDEMIC UNEMPLOYMENT) benefits. I submitted all requested documentation and certifications in compliance with the EDD's requirements, and the benefits provided an essential lifeline of economic support to me.

On (INSERT DATE) my account with the EDD was suspended and I was required to complete and identity verification. I have submitted all required documents to the EDD in order to have this hold lifted and my benefits restored.

It has now been (INSERT NUMBER OF WEEKS/MONTHS) since I submitted my required documentation and I still have not had my benefits restored. This has created a devastating financial hardship through no fault of my own. My efforts to contact the EDD have not yielded any progress, and my account remains on hold.

Can't Get Help From EDD
